gmvl: Our body is a vessel and carries our identity in a visual form; our bodies are the first sight anyone gets into seeing what kind of person. The pose represents how we are given answers because as humans we all collectively search for answers and we are given the answers by others, this is represented in the open palms as any answer that is logical or gives us reason in what happens around us. As a collective species our aims of finding the answers to everything around us sets us apart from other species and defines our identity as a species, I tried to show this though using only the basics of our image, the main frame we are all based on as I did not want to personalize the piece to a certain person or set of people as in some cases our identity is shared across the globe. This could be seen as a comment on religion and in a way I wanted it to be but is as much a comment on science at the same time because they both search for answers into the unknown which in some cases gives us as a race hope in a otherwise confusing and strange world. Just got a 1st for this so yeah go check out part of my visual literacy course I did in my first year.
